Gidne’s passion for cooking began as a young boy growing up in Savannah Sound. In a big family, the kitchen was always full and that’s where he felt most at home. Over time, his gift for flavor and hospitality turned him into the chef everyone called when they wanted something special.

Ta’kevia, once a city girl,  visited Eleuthera in 2017 and something clicked. She felt the peace, the beauty, and the sense of belonging. It didn’t take long before she packed up, moved to the island, and never looked back. Together, they opened their bistro in 2020 and found joy not just in feeding people, but in giving them moments they would never forget.

Now as a family of five, with their three beautiful kids by their side, the heart of what they do hasn’t changed. The kitchen is still the center of it all filled with music, laughter, and love. Cooking is more than just food for them it’s how they show love, celebrate life, and bring people together.
